This pic of hubby and me (ages ago, before we were hubby and wifey) was taken by one of our friends who were with us in Zimbali for a weekend of fun chilling 🙂
Zimbali epitomizes relaxation to the max and that’s the absolute truth 🙂
I don’t think there’s anything in Zimbali Coastal Resort that doesn’t spell “relaxation” . Not even an awful game of golf can ruffle your feathers… or an incomplete one. When it started raining, I simply conceded that was my game all done and I chilled as a passenger in the golf cart for the remaining 3 holes. 🙂
Anyone who didn’t relax in Zimbali would have admitted that nothing about the place was the culprit.
I'm a Philippine island girl in Africa, a Filipino-South African.
A mad banana woman that I am, I live "la vida loca". The banana part isn’t only because I'm Anna (Banana) but because an old boyfriend had observed that although Asian (yellow on the outside) I'm very much Caucasian in my way of thinking (white in the inside) and my actions, too. It's a rather accurate observation. I am that liberal-thinking and modern-acting Filipino... I remain my tragic-comedic self with a day job in slightly more serious field of Finance, Business Operations and Corporate Affairs.

I love Zimbali…
Right now I started falling in love.
Well I was busy packing luggage
As I already knew
Sweet beautiful girl Anne
Would invite me soon
Here I booked my tickets
For a flight to SA
Visit Zimbala
With you and your hubby
Lol! You are too funny! I am sure Zimbali will welcome you with open arms. And maybe we’ll pop in and say hello. It’s at least 7 hours from Johannesburg by car, if I’m not mistaken, but less than an hour by plane.
Well this is beautiful thing of life
There is always a next time
Staying in here and now
Things happen for the nice
Just now came to hear
The flight wasn’t heading to SA
As the pilot had some work
To be done in USA
So see
If I had been on the flight
I would have
Not been in SA

Ah, thank you. Good to hear from you. I haven’t ‘seen’ you.. you must come to SA one day. Zimbali is in KwaZulu-Natal. It’s really beautiful.

We would not know of the place. But it sure looks like the place to relax!
