Women’s Day High Tea

If you must have high tea while in Johannesburg (South Africa), it is imperative that you try out Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton City. It’s my favorite place for high tea. On weekends, guests are not limited to your plated portion. It’s a buffet! It is simply one of the best things to do in Gauteng province.

I briefly came out of my winter hibernation to enjoy the afternoon in the company of some wonderful ladies on Women’s Day. I was absolutely glad I decided to get dressed and out of the house. I will surely be back at Michelangelo Hotel’s ‘Piccolo Mondo’ Restaurant soon.

I hope that the following entice you.

Oh, remember my post on French Macarons? Michelangelo’s macarons are as delicious as Oh my cake’s, if not yummier. But, shh…

Note:

For the first time in years, I was separated from my two mobile phones for about three hours. I was being my inattentive self and forgot my phones charging at home. Thus, I had to use my friend Ilana’s Samsung to take the pictures. The sizes are small as she had to send them to me via WhatsApp so they are not the original sizes. I do hope though that I was still able to capture the image of gastronomy.

    1. Always a pleasure to try different countries’ food. Spain’s tapas are a favorite so far. πŸ˜„ Of course, I love Filipino food. 😝 I look forward to trying out Singaporean cuisine.
